Lea Valley Homes are part of the Aldwyck Housing Group.

After success with the Starter Home Initiative in Hertfordshire for various key worker groups, Lea Valley Homes was appointed by the Housing Corporation as the Zone Agent for Hertfordshire to administer the government-led Key Worker Living initiative in April 2004. The agency was re-named ‘HomeBuy Agency’ in April 2006.

We provide a ‘one-stop-shop’ and point of contact for Hertfordshire residents and Hertfordshire key workers interested in accessing Affordable Housing including low cost home ownership and intermediate rent.

Established in Harpenden in 1968, Aldwyck has a long track record of delivering affordable homes to rent or buy and providing supported housing and care services to our customers in communities across the south east and east of England.

We provide homes and management services for over 20,000 people in a variety of tenures, from rented and part-owned homes to owner-occupiers.
We offer specialist support and accommodation for young people, those with disabilities and older people. Our supported housing and care services range from 24-hour a day care, to on-call support as and when needed.
We also supply a wide variety of services to other organisations in the housing sector, from Development, Maintenance and Housing Management through to Finance and Internal Audit, Human Resources and Customer Services.

We are a not-for-profit social housing provider with an annual turnover in excess of £34 million.
